Is CDV contagious to human?
Although a herpes virus affects people, it is not the same one that affects cats. The feline herpes virus only affects cats, and the human herpes virus only affects humans. However, people can spread it to other dogs if they have the virus on their hands or clothing and then touch other dogs or their environment (e.g.，kennel, toys, grooming tools). Infected dogs shed and pass the virus to other dogs through coughs, sneezes, tears, saliva, urine, and feces.
